Ana is responsible for managing high performance building strategies, green building certifications, and ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager benchmarking across Unico’s Washington and Oregon markets.
Prior to joining the Unico Sustainability team in 2016, Ana worked as a Sustainability Planning Consultant at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin (VHB) Engineering. She sharpened her project management skills overseeing a regional sustainability program with 75 participants to whom she provided technical support on for a wide range of projects related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, water conservation, waste management, resiliency planning, and LEED certification processes.
With her in-depth understanding of green building strategies and sustainability management programs, Ana excels at collaborating with property teams to achieve triple-bottom line outcomes using an interdisciplinary approach that is cost efficient, environmentally responsible, and socially conscious.
