Jodie is responsible for managing LEED certifications and re-certifications, ongoing performance tracking, and ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager benchmarking.
Jodie joined Unico Sustainability in 2015 and brings more than seven years of LEED certification experience to the team. In her career as a sustainable building consultant and project manager, she has managed mostly commercial projects, coordinating design, construction and operations teams.
Prior to her employment with Unico, Jodie was a Commercial Services Manager at O’Brien & Company in Seattle. There she managed the feasibility and execution of building projects from pre-design through post-occupancy, providing sustainability expertise that was instrumental in the certification of more than 60 buildings and spaces. She was also involved in the development of operational plans and policies, including green education plans.
Jodie has deep knowledge and direct experience in LEED rating systems and sustainable building strategies. She has direct experience in adding value through the implementation of high performance design and operations strategies. She excels in communicating with a range of professionals, and is praised by her clients for her comprehensive skill set and efficiency.
