Adam Knoff, Senior Sustainability Manager / LEED AP O+M

Adam is the Senior Sustainability Manager for Unico’s real estate portfolio. He oversees Unico Sustainability Group’s work in the Rocky Mountain region. His responsibilities include developing, implementing and managing green building best practices in both energy efficiency and renewable energy as well as promoting sustainable best practices to industry and government leaders.

While at Unico, Adam has played an integral role in numerous value-add opportunities throughout Unico’s Rocky Mountain division, while also integrating efficiency improvements and green building best practices throughout the portfolio. His work has a played a pivotal role in making Unico’s 13 million square foot portfolio 34% more energy efficient than the national median. He has also led Unico’s entrance into solar energy market by launching the company’s first solar array property upgrade, and is the lead on projects in development. Adam’s efforts have led Unico to win several industry awards, including USGBC Colorado’s Greenest Real Estate Company of the Year.

Adam brings first-hand knowledge of commercial real estate sustainability issues, a deep understanding of energy policy and utility markets, and a hands-on approach to achieving lasting building efficiency. He melds an owner’s perspective with the drive to transform the built environment in a cost-effective manner that increases efficiency, reduces operating expenses, and creates increased asset value
